Hybrid Vehicles are referred to as vehicles that use two distinct energy sources to produce a more efficient energy. The technology dates back to the early 18th century and was used in motorized bicycles. These motorized vehicles is basically the same as the standard bike, it uses human energy and motor to make the bicycle run faster. Another type is the series hybrid bicycle. This uses the electricity and pedal to run the motor. As the user pedals, the battery stores energy, which will then be used as a power source to run the motor. This concept is pretty simple, but has become one of the most effective alternatives to single energy source vehicles.

Hybrid Vehicles And Its Efficiency

After years of development, hybrid power was used on power trains. This time the vehicle is much bigger than the bicycle motors. Power trains used electric and diesel energy to power up the motor. Both these energies work together to produce an efficient power to make the engine run. Sail boats, submarines, and other vehicles are also known to use this technology.
