Electric Mini Cooper, the volt powered Mini

Just when you thought you have seen it all. Wait until you get your hands on the Electric Mini Cooper. It is only a matter of time for another sequel of “The Italian Job” only featuring the same looking cars but going hybrid. That should be an exciting thing to watch, mini meets hybrid, what a great idea? Car manufacturers really have their way of reviving their famous car models and making it more exciting.

Like Cellular phones becoming smaller and more feature-packed, cars are not of an exception. For skeptics, the Mini Cooper going electric may not seem to be possible, but as the recent announcements, BMW is set to produce 500 of these Mini’s in California. Only 500, Yes just 500, which makes it more of a collector’s item than just a conventional electric car, making it much more exciting. Lucky for those who are in California who gets the taste of these sweet cars, but only giving all the hopefuls from other parts of the world jealous doesn’t seem to be fair.

We can only hope for BMW to change their minds in putting the Electric Mini Cooper into full production. As for now, we put ourselves in an endless prayer to get our hands to one of these babies. Style factor of the car is proven to be way off the charts and it is only expected for people to want one.
