Hybrid Vehicles, Powerful Yet Efficient
Hybrid Vehicles are vehicles that use two different types of energy to run its motors. It can be electricity with gas or any other combination of power sources, which can make an engine run with more efficiency. The early prototypes were developed during the 18th century in the form of a bicycle, which they call a motorized bicycle. Another example is the series hybrid bicycle. This type of bicycle is designed to run using a electricity stored on a battery, which is recharged by pedaling.
Although, the application was simple, experts were able to find better combinations of energy sources to power up a bigger vehicle. Among the larger hybrid vehicles is the power train. These trains use diesel fuel and electricity to run the engine. Depending on the mechanism, diesel could run the engine and as it runs out, electricity kicks in or the combination of both to achieve a single efficient energy. The concept is also applied on boats and aircrafts.
