The major drawback about electric cars is its speed and power. The early prototypes never gave any promising speed like the hybrid or gas-powered vehicles in the market, thus, making it seem impossible to reach mass production. As the other companies stopped that dream, Tesla never gave up. With its introduction of its new model, it promises to eliminate those doubts and reshape the car industry.

The Tesla Model S can speed up 0-60mph in just 5.6 seconds similar to a regular gas powered car. A single full charge of the battery could run the car in up to 300 miles and it only takes 45 minutes to fully charge the battery. Efficiency is way off the charts, it is twice as efficient as hybrid cars and it looks no more less than a luxury sedan.
